Entry Requirement
1. Youth ages 18-24
2. Copy of CNIC or student ID
3. Ability to comprehend spoken English
4. Completed YLC registration form
Participants will be selected by the YLC management team. Among other attributes, crtieria include enthusiasm, social skills, positive attitude, endurance and willingness to work hard.
Investment
Fee for YLC 2010 is Rs 68,580, subsidized to Rs 39,900. Participation is confirmed subject to receipt of payment.
Fee includes: Hotel stay; meals and refreshments; conference give-aways (t-shirts, workbooks/diaries, handouts, bags etc); and cultural events.
Fee does not include: Air or land travel of participants to and from the venue.
Financial aid: Available according to pre-determined criteria, for financially constrained applicants.
Special offer: 10% discount for 5 or more participants from the same institution.

Conference Norms
- Registration fee will not be refunded in case participant does not attend the conference or chooses to leave at any time after signing up at the conference venue.
- If the YLC team is notified of cancellation of registration up to a week prior to conference date, 50% of the fee will be refunded.
- Participant is responsible for any damage caused to hotel property/fixtures.
- Participant is to pay for any extra service utilized at the hotel e.g. laundry, telephone, mini bar.
- This being a residential conference, overnight stay at the venue is mandatory.
- YLC is a vigorous program; designed to stretch participant’s capacity and build endurance.
- Program will continue till late hours in the night and will start early in the morning. Participants will be expected to be punctual and attend all sessions.
- Meal timings will be followed as per program.
- 2 T-shirts are provided to participants. T-shirts provided by conference organizers are expected to be worn at all times. Other personal clothing will be required on 2 occasions only. (Additional clothing/toiletries is optional)
- Community service elements of program will require hands on involvement by participants.
- Participants to comply by specific transportation timings and means for field trips and outdoor activities.
- Girls and boys are allocated separate rooms on different floors. Strict adherence to this separation to be maintained at all times.
- Rooms will be allocated to participants by the management team.
- Participants can only leave conference venue in case of emergency and with prior consent of Parent/Guardian and Management Team.
- Use of mobile phones and visit by Parents/Guardians in lobby/designated area is permitted only during off-times, which will be advised at the conference.
- Management Team will not be responsible for damaged or lost property of participants. Act of theft by any participant will result in his/her expulsion and notification to Parent/Guardian.
- Possession and usage of drugs or alcohol by any participant will result in his/her immediate expulsion and notification to Parent/Guardian.
- Respect for fellow participants, facilitators, speakers, other hotel guests and staff is expected.
- Parent/Guardian of concerned participant(s) will be contacted in case of any anti-social behavior.
- Registration will only be accepted with Parent/Guardian consent.
- Application does not confirm participation.
- Participation will be confirmed subject to the receipt of the payment. A confirmation letter will be mailed to the successful candidate.
